Coworking Stats, Research and Data in One Place

It’s hard to keep up with coworking stats and research.

The workspace industry is growing so quickly that numbers change by the week.

As a growing number of researchers focus on coworking, workplaces, remote work, the freelance economy and the future of work, it’s become increasingly challenging to locate the most recent statistics and reports.

Until now.

Coworking Statistics in One Place

The Coworking Library is a potential game-changer for coworking research.

An “interdisciplinary open online database of all the current and previous research about coworking,” the Library provides links to papers, books and more. Site users can browse publications and, since it’s an open database, submit their own publication.

Already, there are 163 publications on topics ranging from workspace introverts and the loneliness epidemic, to the profitability of coworking spaces, strategies for creating interaction and innovation, and managing a workspace, to name just a few.

The Coworking Library Team

The Library is a nonprofit project created by Johanna Voll, researcher at the European University Viadrina and board member of the German Coworking Federation, Carsten Foertsch, founder of Deskmag and the Global Coworking Survey, and Hector Kolonas, founder of included.co.

Moving forward, the Library may prove to be the go-to source for coworking statistics, data and research.
